It is a warm, cozy place where you can hear music of a different time such as Doc Watson, Johnny Cash, Marlene Dietrich, Tom Waits, and Robert Johnson and also crazy music from Finland. For those seeking a haven from the noisy hip-hop joints, the loud over-bearing clubs with pulsing lights, where you can have a good conversation with a stranger who will soon be a friend, Crossroads is the place to go. There is the usual bar assortment served: beer, mix drinks, wine. There is also a good assortment of whiskey and scotch. There is no food, but If you are lucky there is a Czech gentleman, a local late night scene celebrity, who appears bearing an assortment of sandwiches. Crossroadsbar-Betreiber Matthias, fast ein jeder nennt ihn Matze, begrüßt Euch gern in seiner im Prenzlauer Berg gelegenen Bar. Irgendwo zwischen den U-Bahnstationen Eberswalder Straße und Schönhauser Allee, oder Straßenbahnhaltestellen Raumerstraße (Linie 12) und Milanstraße (Linie M1) gibt es Wein, Bier und Whiskey. Dazu Musik von Doc Watson, Johnny Cash, Marlene Dietrich, Tom Waits und Robert Johnson und auch schon mal verrückte Musik aus Finnland. Zu essen gibt es nichts, höchstens mal wenn Ihr den netten Kerl aus Tschechien trefft, der nachts mit ein paar Broten vorbeikommt.
