The passion of the Hörschläger family, together with a great team, is to pamper guests during their holidays. Here, guests become friends, which is why many call the Haagerhof "ZWOATE HOAMAT". Harald Hörschläger has grown into the catering business from an early age and has been running Hans and Barbara Hörschläger's family business with great ambition and motivation since 1994 (official handover in 2000). As head of the house, he is on hand everywhere, whether in the kitchen, reception, service and even in room service when "in need"! With love and understanding for animals and nature, he also looks after the organic farm. Organic farming Our peaceful organic Aberdeen Angus can be observed on the neighbouring, extensive pastures. The animals grow up in suckler cow husbandry and can decide for themselves both in summer and winter whether they want to go to the barn or prefer to enjoy the spacious outdoor pastures. Hans Hörschläger was a pioneer when it came to innovative and modern farming. That is why he decided in 1986 to breed a hitherto non-native breed at the Haagerhof. He imported this special breed from Germany to Austria for the first time! Even at that time, Hans Hörschläger was already focussing on natural husbandry and organic breeding! Harald Hörschläger has expanded the organic breeding programme. For him, species-appropriate and respectful animal husbandry as well as a stress-free breeding programme are very important.
