Watch the fishermen at the lake from the balcony or watch the deer and chamois on the local mountain. On hot summer days, the lake belongs to bathers, pedal boats, air mattresses, swimmers, hikers and joggers. Our house is in the ideal location for many activities. Hiking directly from the house, which direction should you go? Would you rather go comfortably to the “Wachtl”, around the village or through the Gießenbachklamm to the Schopperalm? Or maybe the commute to the Kufsteiner Haus on our local mountain and then on the way back via the Kala-Alm? For mountain bikers there can hardly be a more beautiful starting point than our house. The Bike Trail Tirol passes right in front of the house, just start riding, the possibilities are endless. Countless bike tours lead into beautiful valleys and romantic alpine pastures. Winter is just as varied. The lake trail leads past the house, just get on. There is a toboggan run in front of the house for children to enjoy the snow with their sleds. When the lake freezes over it becomes a huge ice skating rink. The popular Kala-Alm toboggan run is over 4 km long and operates almost all winter. The lake path has been cleared and invites you to take a winter walk. In 20 minutes by car you can also reach Austria's largest connected ski area, the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental. And for those who like to ski locally, the “Mitterland” ski area is only 2 km away. The nearby town center offers very good supply options.
