Tessuti Borgosesia 1934 has been weaving cotton, linen, and Tencel-blends in Bergamo since the year on its name. Four generations of the Borgosesia family, three women on the current management bench, all four spinning machines still on the original 1960s factory floor (modernized but never moved). 1,800 metres of fabric a month at peak capacity.
Their signature is the "40/35/25" blend — 40% cotton, 35% linen, 25% Tencel — a structured-but-soft fabric they developed in 2014 for small-batch Italian RTW studios. Used by Studio Lisboa for the SS26 capsule, by 3 Florentine ateliers, and by a Tokyo concept-store-brand that visits the mill twice a year. Their export desk speaks Italian and English; quotations come in EUR with optional GBP/USD invoicing on Pro+.
They onboarded to BLUN · Listing in February 2026 after a referral from another Bergamo cluster mill. They will quote on briefs <100m without an agent fee. "Stoffe per chi conosce la differenza" — fabrics for those who know the difference — has been their tagline for 60 years.
